The Kids Count in Michigan 2022 Data Book was recently released. The 2022 Kids Count report examines county, and state, level trends in child well-being and is part of a broad national effort to shape the efforts involved in improving the lives of children. Kids Count collects data from multiple primary sources; data in the 2022 data profiles are mostly from the U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey, Michigan's Center for Education Performance and Information, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Department of Education, Early Childhood Investment Corporation, and Feeding America.
