Travel Consultations and Vaccinations

International travel may put you at risk for infections that you might not ordinarily be exposed to, i.e. yellow fever, malaria, typhoid fever, Hepatitis A, etc.

To locate a clinic offering travel consultation and vaccination services viewThe International Society of Travel Medicine

Before you go:

  • Call for a consultation to review your immunization status and customize a plan to reduce your risks.
  • Be informed about your destination.
  • Know how to access travel alerts.

Give yourself some time, more than eight weeks, to prepare. Some vaccinations have to be spaced at different intervals. Adults and children need to be up-to-date on routine immunizations for adequate protection.

Appointments should be scheduled at least eight weeks prior to travel.

US Center for Disease Control
