BHSJ CHA’s Environmental Health Services Returning to St. Joseph County

Coldwater, MI – Environmental Health services from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency will return to St. Joseph County beginning Monday, March 16, 2026.

Services will be offered at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services building at 692 E. Main Street in Centreville. Staff will be available Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“We are still working to repair our Three Rivers location, and the repairs may take some time,” said Health Officer Rebecca Burns. “We thank the Department of Health and Human Services in Centreville for allowing us to use their space so residents can still meet with our Environmental Health staff in person.”

Residents can also apply for services online through the Environmental Health portal at www.bhsj.org. Online applications accept credit card payments, including a convenience fee.

If you need help or would like to speak with a staff member, call 269-273-2161 and select option 2.

Clinical services will continue to be offered in Sturgis until repairs are complete. The agency will continue to share updates with the community during the rebuilding process.
