BHSJ Celebrates National Influenza Vaccination Week – December 1-5, 2025

Coldwater, MI – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency wants you to remember that the best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get vaccinated every year, and it’s not too late! The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began recognizing National Influenza Vaccination Week in 2005 to highlight the importance of continuing flu vaccination throughout the holiday season and beyond.

“Flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection. Every flu season is different, and influenza infection can affect people differently. With the approaching holidays, everyone should consider vaccination to protect yourself and your family members who may be at higher risk, such as grandma, grandpa, and the new baby,” says Heidi Hazel, Personal Health and Disease Prevention Director.

We will be holding influenza vaccine clinics from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome, at the following locations:
