Michigan Public Health Partnership Honors Jeremiah J. Hodshire as a Hometown Health Hero

Jeremiah J. Hodshire is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hillsdale Hospital

On April 11, 2023 at the new Heritage Hall of the State Capital in Lansing, Mr. Jeremiah J. Hodshire, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hillsdale Hospital will be honored for his work supporting the health of the community. This award recognizes individuals and organizations across the state working tirelessly to maintain and improve the health of their local communities. The Hometown Health Hero award is a major part of Public Health Week in Michigan. Mr. Hodshire was nominated for the award by the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency.

“Mr. Hodshire has been instrumental in supporting the health and well-being of Hillsdale County residents for many years.  We are delighted to see his dedication honored through this award,” says Rebecca Burns, Health Officer. “His assistance to our agency over the years has been invaluable. Mr. Hodshire works tirelessly to support the community, and spotlight issues unique in rural health. Hillsdale Hospital and Mr. Hodshire have committed to ensuring all residents have access to the care and services that promote health and wellness.”
