The updated CDC guidance uses the data displayed on this page for when masks are recommended to be worn indoors by both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Currently, Branch County is identified as High for community transmission, Hillsdale County is Substantial, and St. Joseph County is Substantial. Therefore, community transmission in all three counties is at that level where the CDC recommends the use of masks indoors by all individuals.
