What Is Mpox?

Mpox is a viral illness that spreads through close, personal contact with someone who has the virus. Symptoms may include a rash or sores, fever, swollen lymph nodes, chills, muscle aches, and fatigue. Most people recover fully, and early testing, treatment, and prevention can help reduce the spread of the virus.
