On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan, I am pleased to announce that the association is growing and we have launched a search for a new Executive Director. In response to the changing landscape of long-term care and the pivotal growth that is upon us, the Association is taking a proactive approach to re-organize and position ourselves for a stronger future.
Ryan Cowmeadow, our current Executive Director, will continue his work with the Association. “While I very much enjoyed my time as Executive Director, I have also been keenly aware that our needs as an association will continue to move toward new business development and strategic health care partnerships. I am excited that the Board agrees with both the needs and opportunities and have taken action to address them while enabling me to focus on my passion – advocacy. Truly a win-win.” We couldn’t be more pleased that Ryan will continue with the Association as his work as our Executive Director has been nothing short of extraordinary.
We are seeking a strong, authentic leader with demonstrated skills in building strategic partnerships, planning for and implementing long-range strategic plans, and using a strong business acumen with our 16 member area agencies on aging along the way.
This is an exciting opportunity and if you are interested in learning more, please contact the Association’s Operations Manager, Shannon Harkins-Padgitt at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or find the position posting online.
