Area Agency on Aging - Public Input Forum (Branch)
Thursday May 2, 2019
The Branch-St. Joseph Area Agency on Aging is holding a Public Input Forum in each county of the planning and service area as a way to gather input and ideas for our 2020-2022 Multi-Year Area Plan (MYP) and the 2020 Annual Implementation Plan (AIP).
Branch County Residents: Connect, Create, Contribute
Date: Thursday, May 2nd
Time: 10:00 AM
Room: Activity Room 2
Community input from this Forum will be included in these extensive documents and ultimately have an impact on:
How state and federal resources are utilized
What types of services and supports are available
Development of new programs and initiatives
The MYP & AIP are documents written for submission to the Michigan Aging & Adult Services Aging under the authority of the Older Americans Act and the Older Michiganians Act.
** The Input Forums are being held in honor of Older Americans Month 2019 **
Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads our nation’s observance of Older Americans Month. The 2019 theme, Connect, Create, Contribute, encourages older adults and their communities to:
Connect with friends, family, and services that support participation.
Create by engaging in activities that promote learning, health, and personal enrichment.
Contribute time, talent, and life experience to benefit others.
